Harim Group is proceeding concept design with the goal of building high tech food processing plant having the global competitiveness in National Food Cluster (Foodpolis). The high tech plant to be built here will lead domestic and foreign comprehensive food industry along with Harim’s Poultry Processing Complex and Harim Food Complex.
It was established as a part of the Korea-US FTA complementary measure, and it is the food specialized project complex built for technology innovation and facilitation of domestic agrifood and for opening overseas export market of pur agrifood.
The goal is to build the world class large high tech industrial complex where research institutions, universities, and food companies are concentrated in the area of a total of 2,32million. Iksan, where the national food cluster is located, is the center of road and rail transportation, and is also a key place of distribution close to Gunsan port and Saemangeum new port.
